Sociogenesis "Track"

I found interesting finding when reviewing how track was played during Ancient Greece times.  In 776BC,  men would sculpt there bodies to try and emulate the gods.  They would perform these event naked while everyone would come watch for entertainment.  They would boost there reputation up if they won an event and would make there families proud.  Men would compete by seeing who can run the fastest, weight lifting to see who was the strongest, and shot put to see who throw the farthest.  White men who only compete in these events which have changed drastically in our generation today.  The same ideas and rules are still applied but it has changed along the way such as making sure everyone was equal and not taking any illegal supplements and you must wear clothes.  The idea of the Olympics still exist but only takes place every four years with the greatest athletes across the world to display there skills to everyone in the world.
